The Riding School in Prague Castle is a building shaped like no other within the complex. The building forms an “L” shape looking up to St. Vitus Cathedral. This part of the castle dates back to the late 17th century. However, since the mid 20th century the Riding school has been an exhibition hall. The new summer riding school built during the same time is the only building in the Prague Castle complex to have a garden laid out on the roof to provide an unusual view of St. Vitus's Cathedral as well as part of the fortifications of Prague Castle.
