Info:

Like most churches and cathedrals in Prague, the Church of St. Thomas is decorated with painted walls and ceilings. The alter is decorated with gold statues and beautiful carvings. But what differs the Church of Saint Thomas from other churches and cathedrals is the way of lighting. The lights are hidden in the gaps where the meets the ceiling to light up the church. This church doesn't have stained glass windows like most but this original lighting is what makes this church unique.

The origins of the Church of Saint Thomas date back to the late 13th century but wasn't finished until about 100 years later. Included with the Church of Saint Thomas was the Augustinian Monastery as well as the St. Thomas' Brewery. The interior of the Church of St. Thomas contains paintings and statues from Bohemian artists as well as other works of art.
