The Kinsky Palace is the most beautiful Rococo building in Prague. The decoration of the outside of the building give this building the remarkable essence that demands a visit from all who come to Prague.
Kinsky Palace, which stands on a site previously occupied by two Mediaeval houses, is a specimen of late-Baroque Classical architecture. It was built between 1755 and 1765 by Anselmo Lurago, according to an earlier design of K. I. Dienzenhofer. The palace curently houses the Prague National Gallery's Collections, offering space for its regular exhibitions. Permanent exhibition presents Czech landscapes ranging from the Baroque to the present.
