The Jewish town spread in the past in the area of the
present streets Břehová, Červená, part of Dušní street, Maiselova,
Pařížská, 17. listopadu and U Starého hřbitova. In the times when
there lived 17000 people there was created of plain grey buildings
narrow, dirty and mysterious lanes without any green, that were
wonderful breeding ground for various legends. From the whole
Prague there come people for amusement in the pubs and brothels.
Other went here to do some shopping in the small shops,
mostly in the schlock joints and the junk dealers were full
of various goods.
