Through the Milešovská we pass to Mahler Gardens, with the highest
Prague building - 260 meters high Žižkov TV tower designed
by the architect Václav Aulický and built in 1985-1992. From three
sightseeing cabins up in the high of 93 meters there is opened the
surprising and beautiful view on the whole Prague with all the
sights from the bird's eye view. In spring weather you can see as
far as to the distance of 100 kilometres (opened daily from 10.00
until 23.00).
In the height of 66 meters there is the air-conditioned restaurant
and cafe. In the tower there are two elevators for the public,
service relation and the stairs up to the height of 124 meters
altogether with 736 stairs. Under the ground there is the parking
lot for 70 cars, fallout shelter and three back-up power
supplies.
