From 23rd December to 2nd January, Jan Kepler Grammar School presents an exhibition of the most beautiful Czech and foreign cribs and nativity scenes.
Visitors to the exhibition in Jan Kepler Grammar School will have the chance to see over two hundred exhibits made of e.g. plaster, wax, ceramics, wood, straw, crystal, leather, alabaster, cooled down lava, sorghum, resins, dough, pearl, a nativity scene painted on stones, pieces of wood, feathers, bobbin lace cribs, scenes made of embroidery, marble, eggs, butterfly wings, fat and other materials.
The cribs come from the four corners of the world, from e.g. Germany, Italy, Malta, Majorca, Austria, France, Vatican City, USA, Croatia, England, China, Poland, Spain, Peru, Israel, Bolivia, Chile, Philippines, Slovakia, Colombia and from some African countries.
The best way to get to Jan Kepler Grammar School is by tram number 1 or 22, Pohořelec tram stop.
