Behind the colourful fence along the busy Podolí Embankment a unique leisure area is hidden. The Yellow Spa on the bank of the Vltava River with its large lawn is more than simply a great bathing spot , but people can also use it for sports grounds, refreshments and as a playground.
The leisure area dating back to 1910, was affected by the devastating flood in 2002, which forced the owner to completely renovate the 35 000 m2 grounds.
Bathing in the river is not all the Yellow Spa has to offer: there is also beach volleyball, beach football, table tennis or pétanque, as well as a good number of restaurants, bars and refreshment stalls.
Open daily from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m., admission until 17:30 is 40 CZK, children half price. If you want to rent one of the sports facilities, the price depends on the time of the day and ranges from 100 CZK for a pedal boat or pétanque to 490 CZK for a beach volleyball court.
Admission to the children’s corner is 100 CZK per adult.
