Due to popular demand, the bustling farmers market at Kubánské Square, Prague 10, will be extended until Christmas. In November, they will be held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. From St Nicholas day onwards this is a must for all those who love traditional Czech products and delicacies, and you will be able to visit the markets every day.
There will be less vegetable and dairy products but new winter products will be introduced, including a 24-hour working milk machine. Visitors can also order a free range St Martin goose via the market’s website.
“In November, the markets will start an hour later than usual. In December, the visitors can look forward to original festive Christmas markets,” said Mayor of Prague 10 Vladislav Lipovský. “They will offer an even wider range of hand-made gifts, Christmas decoration, textiles and costume jewellery made from wool and wood as well as ceramics and sweet water fish,” added Lipovský.
The City Hall is also currently considering holding another Christmas market at Čechovo Square, which would include a Christmas tree.
