Kampa Island is a natural island formed by the Vltava, also known as the Devil's Stream. In the beginning of Kampa Island, it wasnt much of a sight, a few gardens here and there but mostly it was used for laundry purposes. Today its known as the Venice of Prague for as a picturesque, calm oasis in the heart of a busy city.
